Emily Smith

Designer

Emily is a designer at Hamill Creek with a lifelong passion for creativity. As the daughter of Debbie and Dwight, she grew up around timber frames and started drawing home plans at just five years old. She studied Drafting-Architectural at Nova Scotia Community College, graduating in 2019.
At Hamill Creek, Emily has worked in various roles, from the mill yard and timber frame shop to the bookkeeping department. Now, she turns our clients’ dreams into reality through design. She is passionate about each unique project and enjoys collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of work, she loves farming hops with her partner and making music with friends.
